CYTUN - CHURCHES TOGETHER IN DENBIGH 2008
The usual range of activities took place during the year: The Week of Prayer for Christian Unity in January, with lunchtime prayer meetings at Capel Pendref and a united service in St. Mary's Church, as well as the monthly lunchtime prayer meetings, also in Capel Pendref, Lent Study, with the English language meetings led by the Rector, Easter morning service in the Castle again led by the Rector, monthly Healing Services in St.Thomas's, usually led by Rev. John Barnett of the Welsh language Methodists.
The Prayer Diary for the town was launched, focusing prayer on specific areas of the town and town life each day of the month.

CHRISTIAN AID 2008
During the year, the Denbigh and District Christian Aid Committee raised £6,700 for the work of Christian Aid. Of that amount, £3,800 came from the House-to-house collection during Christian Aid Week (St. Thomas' collected £760). In addition, the Sankey Evening raised £430, and a Pancake Evening in Capel Mawr brought in £250. Two Frugal Lunches were held in Denbigh Rugby Club, which raised a further £140, and which provided an opportunity to buy Fairtrade goods
