From the Church Hymnary No 436

O master let me walk with thee

In lowly paths of service free;

Thy secrets tell; help me to bear

The strain of toil, the fret of care.

INTRODUCTION

Welcome to the web site of St Thomas’ Church, Denbigh. This web site has been produced by the members of St Thomas’s  and I would like to thank them for all their input and hard work.
St Thomas’ is part of the Presbyterian Church of Wales. However, as it is the main English language Free Church in Denbigh it attracts people with a wide range of Christian Backgrounds –Methodists, Baptists, Anglicans and others. Denominational affiliation does not mean everything to us in St Thomas’, we are more interested in kindness, helpfulness and teaching the Good News about Jesus Christ.
Denbigh is a very historical town, indeed it has more listed buildings than any other town in Wales.
St Thomas’ has a reputation in the town for being a lively, active church.
As you will see from browsing the web site, we have a number of groups meeting in church during the week. There is a prayer group, Guild meetings and a gardening club. Naturally, worshipping Almighty God, through Jesus Christ is the principal calling of the Church and of Christians. In our worship we try to meet the needs of people of all ages. There is a Sunday School, and we also have family services. usually during the main Christian festivals (Easter, Christmas, Harvest Thanksgiving).
If you are in Denbigh-whether visiting or living-please call in to St Thomas’. I cannot guarantee that you will love the building or delight in our style of worship, but I do know that you will be warmly welcomed and treated with respect and kindness, and all in the name of Jesus Christ. Surely, in the end, this is what matters most.
With every blessing,

Gareth

Revd. Gareth Roberts, Minister of St Thomas’ Church.
